Shorter people have to put the baby in while sitting in the rear passenger seat.
To put the baby into the baby car seat, sit in the rear passenger seat first - via the driver door, a passage that is squeezy even without carrying a baby.

This awkwardness may be common to all two door vehicles. But don't worry, life get's easier when the
baby is old enough to face forward in the Jimny!
